Bulding our Builder's client base & image while they build their client's dream home...

As Southeast Mortgage, SEM, continues to grow market share and work with the best builders in Georgia, I realized why our market expansion in this segment has been so dramatic.  Ultimately the common goal of Builders and SEM is to have a happy client that closes on time and will tell their friends and family about their experience.  That is the value proposition for organizations that choose SEM to provide best in class service for their clients.

Historically a few competitors boast about "new products", definitions of mortgage terms, or inducements.  Client's ultimately want a Licensed Mortgage Consultant (MLO) that can provide a loan that fits their needs and will achieve home ownership.  To do that, you have to have a TEAM of dedicated Operations people who care about every application and have one clear common mission.  Our MLO and Client survey service score for April was a 4.7 (94% of a Perfect Score) on a scale of 1-5.  Our 360 degree accountability survey ensures we are always learning and perfecting our processes.  Our 2016 average survey score is 4.6 which shows service is trending up with historical volume.

The blog would be full if I posted every letter and email from our clients.  I wanted to share Vernon's client who recently closed with Crown Communities.  Some lenders may have lost this client; however, Vernon with a TEAM that cares, focused on the client.  As a result, we allowed our client to purchase a home, our Builder Partner to close a beautiful home, and both Crown and SEM have a client who is telling everyone about their experience.  That is tangible and real value to our Builders.  See our client's email below.

Vernon Chandler you are GOAT (Greatest of All Time) of lenders.  I cannot thank you enough for everything you have done for me.  The days when I felt the worse and wanted to give up, without even knowing it you came through with encouraging words to keep me pushing forward.

I know that you being assigned my loan was God.  He knew that my case needed someone as kind and considerate as you to get me through the process.  No matter what happened you were always confident and encouraging and that is why I now own 664 Corsica Lane.

I think about the day that I called and you were at your wife's grandmother funeral.  Most people wouldn't even answer the phone but you did.  I felt terrible about disturbing your family but you assured me it was ok and put my mind at ease as to my status.  This speaks volumes about your character and spiritual gift.  How many people do you know that really show care and concern in the performance of their job duties?  I work in customer service and I can assure you not many...

Vernon, I know that God has a plan and a purpose for your life simply because of who you are.  If at any time you ever doubt or question who or where you are in life, I want you to remember me and how you helped me through.  God will always bless you and your family because you demonstrate who He is through who You are.  
 
I would like to send you a token of appreciation for all you did in this process.  Yeah, yeah I know that I don't have to, but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night in my beautiful new home if I didn't show you my sincere appreciation.  Can you please send me an address whether home or work that I can send something to.  Again THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE!!!!

After the Close Matters to Builders and Realtors - Testimonial

Although Southeast Mortgage, SEM, is known for its fast and great service, client testimonials reinforce why it takes a TEAM or "VILLAGE" to create a bond with clients.  The client below was from Crown Communities.  What separates one lender from another is not just closing the loan - its how the client feels about you and your referral partners after the close.  This organic growth is SEM's greatest asset and the added value our Builders and Realtors enjoy working with our TEAM.
 
Take a minute and read the email below from Kim to me related to Mr. White. Goooood Afternoon Kim,

 A couple things I want to mention and express my sincerest gratitude for the outstanding work you orchestrated getting us in our "NEW HOME".... You are a Master of what you do and 2nd to none in my humble opinion working as hard as you did and making the process unbelievable easy and less stressful... Starting with your support staff, I was sooooo impressed how they held my hand, walk me through or explained to me exactly what was needed from me or when I needed to have certain things done...
 
Starting with Jamie, her mannerism, the easy way she spoke and the clarity made it easy for me to "just do what was required" because I understood and didn't have to ask a bunch of needless questions even though she was absolutely clear about me "Asking questions or wanting an explanation" if I was uncertain at anytime.... When Jamie finished with me and I was "handed off" to Jessica, I felt like I've know her forever... Jessica is absolutely brilliant and showed real leadership when we hand that issue with "Fre"... She was available to me any time of day or night, e-mailing and or texting me and responding almost immediately when I had questions or wanted an update.... And then there was Edward ... When I got to him, that's when I knew it was his responsibility to make certain all "i's" are dotted and all "t's" are crossed... Edward was like a tagged team partner... Instead of wasting needless time on the phone, he had me talk directly to the contacts I needed to provide information to.... Although I thanked each person I mentioned individually, can you PLEASE thanked them again and let them know how great I "know" them to be a I really appreciate the super super job they did for us.... I remember as if was yesterday when Sherry Bivins wouldn't let me leave her property because she was certain about one thing and that was instead of waiting 6 months , (my timeline} convince me the time was "right" right now and just give her a chance... Sherry called you and that's how it all began.... I'm sorry I didn't get the opportunity to meet you in person, because I was soooo looking forward to meeting you especially because of the admiration and total respect I have for you and the fantastic way you communicate  every thing I need to know... David Jacobs joins Southeast Mortgage


I am pleased to announce David Jacobs has joined Southeast Mortgage, SEM, as Builder Relationship Specialist. 

David is excited about the opportunity to expand his builder business and grow with SEM.  SEM’s reputation as an exceptional service provider and our resources to capture the Georgia Market was key to David’s decision.  David was a very talented athlete in the University of Georgia Football program and to this day maintains a close relationship with Coach Mark Richt who is also David’s oldest son’s Godfather.

David is passionate about helping SEM develop a best in class service model adapted to home builders and their needs.

David is married to Desiree and has two sons ages 5 and 6 and lives in Canton GA.  David is a native Georgian and his wife Desiree is from California.  Desiree was very involved in David’s decision to join SEM. 

David will be a valued member of our team and shares our sense of team work and passion to grow SEM.
